CBR250R Instrument Bulbs
The instrument uses filament bulbs for general background illumination.
They are not bright, particularly given a lot of the light is filtered out.
The upgrade LED bulbs are bright and intense.
They are very specifically designed to suit the instrument.
Kit contains 4 LED bulbs for the backlight illumination

Vice Crisp, Clear and Intense Backlighting.
It’s unlike the washed out pale green you have with ordinary bulbs.
The picture below shows normal bulbs fitted to the speedo, and the new new LEDs bulbs fitted for the tacho and tempeture guage.
It’s not possible to light up with other colours. The filter painted on the dial plates blocks other colours.
Fitment
The interior of the instrument isn’t well designed for illumination, hence why the backlighting is so poor to start with.
These LED replacement bulbs are custom designed and specifically optimized to suit the MC19 CBR250R instrument only.
